Description
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is the oxidized form of NADH, a naturally occurring coenzyme. In biochemical research, NAD+ is studied for its role in shuttling electrons between reactions, acting as an intracellular (and in some contexts, extracellular) energy carrier.
