BPC-157 / TB-500 Blend

This product contains a blend in a single lyophilized preparation.

BPC-157 is a linear pentadecapeptide, Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, with no terminal modifications. Its sequence is proline-rich, with three consecutive prolines at positions 3 through 5 and additional prolines at positions 8 and 11, which constrains backbone flexibility and underlies its reported stability in acidic aqueous media. The sequence corresponds to a fragment of a larger protein originally described in gastric juice, from which the historical “body protection compound” designation derives.

TB-500 is a synthetic heptapeptide, Ac-Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln, corresponding to residues 17 through 23 of thymosin beta-4, a 43-residue actin-sequestering protein. This segment contains the conserved actin-binding motif of the parent protein. It carries an N-terminal acetyl group.

This material is supplied as a characterized reference preparation for non-clinical laboratory work, such as analytical method development for multi-peptide preparations, comparative stability studies across pH ranges, conformational analysis by circular dichroism, and in vitro actin-binding assays.
