Description
Research Compound SMA is a synthetic 31-residue peptide analogue. It carries an aminoisobutyric acid substitution at position 8 and a C18 diacid side chain attached through a gamma-glutamyl and two-unit PEG spacer at the lysine at position 26, which confers reversible albumin binding.
This material is supplied as a characterized reference compound for non-clinical laboratory work, such as analytical method development for acylated peptides, receptor-binding assays and cAMP signaling assays, albumin-binding assays, and comparative in vitro studies of incretin receptor ligands.
