Independent Verification

Quality at Universal BioLabs is not a slogan. It is a documented process. Every batch is evaluated against established analytical standards and supported by batch-specific records before it is made available to researchers.

We believe serious research requires more than claims. It requires transparent documentation, verifiable purity data, and consistent batch control. That is why no batch is released without supporting analytical records.

Included Documentation

  • Certificate(s) of Analysis

Universal BioLabs Standards

Research compounds backed by clear documentation.

Built around synthesis, verification, documentation, and support for qualified research customers.

Research-Grade Synthesis

Universal BioLabs manufactures research compounds with a focus on purity, molecular precision, and batch-to-batch consistency. Using solid-phase synthesis and strict quality control protocols, we aim to provide compounds that meet the standards serious research demands.

Before release, each batch undergoes analytical review to verify purity, confirm molecular identity, and screen for contaminants. This process is designed to support compound integrity and provide researchers with clear, batch-specific documentation.

Quality and Manufacturing

Universal BioLabs is committed to delivering research compounds backed by strict quality controls, documented handling procedures, and batch-level analytical verification. Our manufacturing and packaging workflow is designed to maintain consistency, traceability, and confidence from production through fulfillment.

Each batch undergoes a defined analytical review prior to release, with testing and documentation that may include HPLC purity analysis, LC-MS molecular identity confirmation, sterility and endotoxin screening, and contaminant testing where applicable.

Independent Testing Standard

Quality at Universal BioLabs is not a slogan. It is a documented process built around analytical verification and transparency.

Every batch is supported by testing data and quality documentation intended to give researchers more than marketing language — it gives them records they can evaluate directly.

Compounds for In Vitro Research

Universal BioLabs supplies research-grade compounds for laboratory use, supported by complete analytical documentation for every batch. Our focus is on delivering reliable compounds, clear records, and a smooth purchasing experience for qualified research customers.

Supporting Scientific Research

At Universal BioLabs, our mission is to support in vitro research with high-quality compounds and the technical documentation laboratories depend on for confidence and consistency.

FAQ

What quality testing do you provide?

Every batch is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) issued by an independent third-party laboratory. Our testing protocols utilize High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with UV detection, coupled with Mass Spectrometry (MS), to verify molecular identity, purity, and compound integrity.

Each batch is tested for:

  • Molecular identity and CAS number confirmation
  • Purity levels of 99%
  • Appearance and composition specifications
  • Endotoxin levels, which must remain below USP <85> limits (0.5 EU/mg or 5 EU)
  • Sterility compliance under USP <71> standards
  • Total Aerobic Microbial Count (TAMC) and Total Yeast and Mold Count (TYMC)

All COAs are available prior to purchase, allowing researchers to independently review quality and testing standards for their intended research applications.

How do I read your Certificates of Analysis?

Each COA displays the accession number, received date, reported date, and your specific product information (CAS number, quantity, identity, purity percentage, and appearance). You’ll see two graphs: the HPLC chromatogram showing the purity peak, and the mass spectrometry data confirming molecular weight and identity. The specification table provides the result summary with exact purity percentage. Every COA includes the testing lab’s principal chemist signature and the testing methodology used.

Product photos show the actual vial appearance and labeling for verification.

Do you test for endotoxin contamination?

Every batch undergoes rigorous endotoxin testing using the sensitive Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) assay performed by our independent third-party certified labs. We maintain strict limits of less than 0.5 EU/mg to ensure the peptides are suitable for sensitive cell-based and in vitro research applications.

Endotoxin results are clearly documented on the Certificate of Analysis alongside HPLC purity and mass spectrometry data, providing complete transparency and confidence in product quality for your research protocols.

What purity level do I need?

Research applications typically require 95-99%+ purity for reliable results. Lower purity can introduce variables that interfere with in vitro studies and compromise data integrity.

Our 99%+ purity variants meet pharmaceutical-grade standards. Higher purity reduces experimental noise and gives you cleaner baseline data for your research protocols.

How should I store unopened research compounds?

Store lyophilized peptides at -20°C in their original sealed vials. Keep them away from light and humidity.

Under these conditions, our research-grade compounds maintain stability for 3-5 years. The sealed environment with desiccant protection preserves molecular integrity for long-term laboratory use.

How long do reconstituted research compounds last?

Reconstituted solutions remain stable for several days at 2-8°C. For longer storage, create small aliquots and freeze at -20°C or -80°C.

Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Use sterile bacteriostatic water and aseptic technique when preparing solutions for multiple-use research applications.

Are research compounds legal to purchase?

Research compounds sold “for research purposes only” are legal to purchase in most jurisdictions when clearly labeled for laboratory use.

Our products are intended exclusively for in vitro research by qualified professionals. They are not FDA-approved for human consumption or veterinary use. Regulations vary by location, so verify your local requirements.

What are your shipping times?

Most in-stock research compounds ship the same day on orders placed before 12 PM PT. Domestic US orders arrive in 3-5 business days via standard shipping, or 1-2 days expedited.

We ship lyophilized peptides at ambient temperature in protective packaging. Free shipping on orders over $500.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only to qualified research institutions, laboratories, and eligible customers. All shipments include applicable documentation, including Certificates of Analysis, MSDS when available, and “research use only” declarations. Shipping times vary by location within the U.S.

What sizes are available?

Standard vial sizes range from 2mg to 10mg per peptide. We offer volume discounts starting at 3 vials (4-10% discount).

Why do products say "not for human consumption"?

This disclaimer indicates our products are research-grade compounds for laboratory applications only. They haven’t been evaluated by the FDA for human safety or efficacy.

We maintain strict regulatory compliance. All products are manufactured and labeled for scientific research purposes under Good Manufacturing Practices.

What is your return policy?

Due to temperature-sensitive storage requirements and the nature of research compounds, we don’t accept returns on shipped products. We accept returns on unopened supplements within 10 days of delivery; all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and will be refunded minus the cost of the return shipping label.

How can I contact support?

Email us at support@universalbiolabs.com for product questions, technical specifications, or order assistance. We respond within 24-48 hours during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM PT).

What if my order doesn't arrive?

Contact us immediately if tracking shows delivery but you haven’t received your package. If the carrier confirms non-delivery, we’ll reship at no cost.

We stand behind our shipping guarantee. Your research timeline matters, and we work quickly to resolve any delivery issues.
